Patient Consultation: Change of Enhanced Access Service Provider

Dear patients,

We are writing to inform you about an upcoming change to the way you access enhanced healthcare services at our practice. From 1st April 2025, our Enhanced Access Service provider will be changing, and we would like to ensure that you are fully informed about what this means for you.

What is Enhanced Access?

Enhanced Access provides patients with additional GP appointments outside of standard practice hours, including evenings and weekends. This service is designed to improve convenience and accessibility, ensuring you can receive medical care at times that suit you best.

What is Changing?

Currently, Enhanced Access services are provided by Quay Healthcare. From 1st April 2025, three GP practices within Warrington Innovation Network PCN (Culcheth Medical Centre, Guardian Medical Centre & Springfields Medical Centre) will be taking over the delivery of this service on behalf of all our member practices:

  • 4Seasons Medical Centre
  • Chapelford Medical Centre
  • Culcheth Medical Centre
  • Guardian Medical Centre
  • Parkview Medical Centre
  • Springfields Medical Centre

This will not impact existing services at any of the practices named above within usual hours and the change is part of our ongoing efforts to improve patient care and enhance the quality of services available to you.

How Will This Affect You?
  • Appointment Availability: You will still have access to additional GP, nurse, and healthcare professional appointments outside of normal surgery hours.
  • Booking Appointments: You will continue to book Enhanced Access appointments through our reception team or online, just as you do now.
  • Location of Appointments: Some appointments may take place at a different location than before. Full details will be provided when booking.
  • Continuity of Care: Your medical records will remain accessible to healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and a seamless transition to the new provider.
