Book an Appointment
You can book an appointment at the Practice in a number of ways.
When contacting the surgery you will be asked for a reason for the call and our receptionist patient advisers will direct you to the most appropriate appointment type.
GP and Nurse appointments are available to book / cancel and rearrange 24 hours a day using online services.
Please ensure you consult the booking guide on the "Online Services" page prior to booking.
You must be registered to access this service, please attend the surgery with photographic ID and proof of address and complete an online registration form.
Please telephone the surgery appointment line on 01925 650226 (option 1) between 8.30am and 6pm.
Same day appointments are available at the Practice and are bookable from 8:30am.
Routine GP appointments are available to book 2weeks in advance, please contact the Practice and ask for a routine pre-bookable appointment.
Face to Face
You are able to attend the practice in person to book an appointment, please present at the reception front desk and advise the receptionist of the appointment required.
GP Face to Face Appointments
We offer face to face appointments with a GP on a routine and same day basis.
If you are "regularly" seeing a GP or wish to see a specific GP we advise booking a routine appointment available to book 2weeks in advance.
We cannot guarantee booking with specific GPs when calling to book on the day.
PRE-BOOKABLE GP APPOINTMENT - Routine appointments pre-bookable with GPs up to 2weeks in advance
SAME DAY GP APPOINTMENT - For acute illnesses where you feel you need to see the GP that day
GP Extended Access Appointments
Extended access appointments outside of usual surgery hours.
Pre-bookable evening and weekend appointments with a local GP are available within the below times at Bath Street health & Wellbeing Centre, Legh Street, Warrington, WA1 1UG .
- 6:00pm - 8:00pm Monday to Friday
- 8:00am - 4:00pm Saturday
- 10:00am - 2:00pm Sunday
This is easily accessible in the Town Centre and has links to public transport on the town's main bus routes.
To access an extended access appointment please contact the Practice appointments line on 01925 650226 (option 1).
Please be aware that you will need to consent to share your medical record with the service.
Emergency GP Appointments
The surgery offers facilities for patients to be seen urgently as an emergency.
However, these same day appointments are for emergency / urgent cases only where patients are at direct risk to their health.
If you book a same day urgent appointment please attend promptly. You may have to wait up to 1 hour for an appointment. Sick notes or administrative tasks are not emergencies.
As directed by the GPs the receptionist with ask you a series of questions when booking to help prioritise urgent cases.
GP Telephone appointment
We offer GP telephone appointments on a same day and pre-bookable basis.

SAME DAY GP TELEPHONE APPOINTMENT - For when you feel you need to speak to the GP that day
GP Results Telephone Appointment
We offer ROUTINE GP telephone calls for patients to discuss tests results with a clinician.
Call 999 in a medical emergency rather than seeing your GP– when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

We are continually monitoring our appointments and we aim to meet patient demands, please do let us know if you have any suggestions or feedback.
We aim to see patients on time, however on occasions; your clinician may be running late. If this is the case we will aim to see you within 30 minutes of your appointment time. You will be kept informed of any delays in your appointment, if you find the delay unacceptable we will, where possible, offer an alternative clinician or an alternative appointment at a mutually convenient time.
